Tracey – Health Visitor

After qualifying as a Registered Nurse in Sheffield I undertook Midwifery training at Pontefract, spending twelve rewarding and enjoyable years there. After working as a Midwife both in the hospital and in the community, I eventually left Midwifery behind in 1999 (still loving the job but exhausted by the shift work!) I went on to undertake a full-time degree at Leeds Metropolitan University, obtaining my Health Visiting qualification in 2000. My initial years as a Health Visitor were spent working within the Wakefield district, namely at Lupset Health Centre. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Lupset and gained some fabulous life-long friends but in April 2005 I decided to join the College Lane practice in April of that year.
Outside work I love to travel, read, socialise, wine and dine, keep fit (or try to!) and spend time with my wonderful husband and daughter.
