How do I Book an Appointment?

Telephone Consultation
You may request a telephone consultation with either a nurse or doctor before 11am Monday to Friday for routine advice or help in lieu of attending surgery. Please request on the day of appointment, providing us with relevant contact details so that we may contact you.
Pre-Bookable Appointments
Routine GP appointments can be booked via the Reception team UP TO 4 WEEKS IN ADVANCE. Using this option will ease the rush for ‘same day’ appointments, and allow those patients to plan their time better, for example working away from the area or who have transport difficulties find these pre-bookable appointments most convenient.
Direct Access Appointments
These appointments are released daily at 8.30 am for the morning and the afternoon sessions. Patients are encouraged to ring as early as possible in the morning to arrange an appointment for that day. Please note you may not always be able to see the doctor of your choice when you book the same day.
Practice Nurse Appointments
Appointments with the Practice Nurse can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance.
Specialised Services
Appointments for such as minor operations, diabetic checks and antenatal care are bookable further ahead.
Whilst we endeavour to give you an appointment with the Doctor or Nurse of your choice we may not always be able to meet this request, it may therefore mean that sometimes you have to wait a little longer to be seen (not the same day) or be advised about the availability of a different Doctor or Nurse.
